VANCOUVER, WA.

TOWING SERVICES

Acton towing offers towing services throughout the greater Clark County, WA and surrounding areas. We opened shop in Vancouver in 1986. We currently only have one location but are soon planning to expand. Our fleet of light and medium duty trucks are available 24/7 to safely transport vehicles up to 26,000 lbs. With quality equipment and professionally trained operators, we have all the right tools and experience to your vehicle. We pride ourselves on the highest level of customer service whether you’re speaking to our dispatch team or directly to our drivers.

We are proud to be a registered tow truck operator (RTTO) in the state of Washington. Being an RTTO means being held accountable. We are audited a minimum of once a year by the Washington State Patrol. During our audits, the tow truck inspector checks our compliance with the numerous RCWs an RTTO is required to follow. Alongside the audits are tow truck inspections. Each one of our tow trucks are inspected to be sure they are safe, reliable and in compliance to be on the roadways. Transparency is important to us at Action Towing. We operate strictly by RCWs and city codes, all of which are available for the public. Our fees are based on rates set by the Washington State Patrol. We proudly hold a Letter of Appointment from the Chief allowing us to tow for the local police agencies.

OUR TRUCKS

Our fleet of trucks include both light and medium duty roll backs and wheel lifts. We have extensive experience in safely transporting all types of vehicles from exotic to fleet. Whether you need your vehicle delivered to a showroom or body shop, we can assure you that it will arrive safely and on time. We have the right tools and training to handle all sorts of automobiles including but not limited to classic, lowered, electric and motorcycles.

Our wheel lift trucks have hydraulic booms with cross bars at the end. Those bars are designed to slip under the front or rear wheels of the vehicle. The vehicle is then lifted while two wheels remain on the ground to free roll. If your vehicle’s transmission is rear-wheel drive, your vehicle will be towed from the back. If your vehicle is front wheel drive, your vehicle will be towed from the front. There are several advantages of these trucks to include quick hookups and fitting into tight spaces. For instances where an all-wheel-drive vehicle needs towed by a wheel lift, dollies will be used. Dollies will assure all the wheels of the vehicle are up off the ground during tow.

Our flatbed trucks have a bed that tilts enabling it to move and incline to ground level. This allows the vehicle to be rolled up on to the bed of the truck. If the vehicle does not move on its own, a winch can be used to pull it up. The car is then secured up on the deck for the duration of the tow. These trucks are preferred for vehicles with missing or damaged wheels and long-distance tows.

We guarantee to send the right truck for the job. This is why it’s important to get all the details when ordering your truck. Our goals are the same as yours; Get your vehicle delivered safely and on time.
